Her title included a modeling contract with Wilhelmina Models and photo shoot for an editorial in Bombshell Magazine. Since winning this title she has gone onto bigger and better things (pun intended) and has been featured on various covers of well known and popular magazines.
Whitney Thompson was the first plus-size model to win the reality-based TV show, 'America's Next Top Model'. Whitney was also the first plus-size model to appear on the cover of Seventeen Magazine in 2008.
Of course one of the most famous and well known names in the larger lady arena is probably, musician, actress and model, Queen Latifah, who is a celebrity spokesperson for Cover Girl Cosmetics and Curvation ladies underwear.
